Automatic Lover (Call for Love) [Braeden47] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamental's furfilled. Basic: 6.5/10 I think in the beginning at m8/45 you could have added a stop at the clap to fit with the song & also you could not have any notes there for maximum impact the. At m25, there could be ambiguity with the posisiton of the foot which could cause a doublestep. M29 also has ambiguity. Other then that, when the song picks up is when the song ends so that may play a factor in scoring. Difficult: 7/10 I did like the jump matching the clap in both difficult and basic. I do know that there are lots of spins in this, but I feel like they don't really fit. In the chorus at m48, you didn't follow the rhythm of the chorus. Overall, I think it's just okay. Expert: 4/10 I did like that the clap part is consistent, but why is there tons of 16th's in a 13 at 133bpm? First, I did get having the freeze arrows in the beginning to follow the robotic voice, but then there are notes that I feel are just put just to make it hard. At m29 I liked how you did a down arrow to match the lyric of down, but I felt you added an additional down arrow which I felt lowers the impact of the lyric down. At m24/m36 you didn't fully commit to the 16th drill when the snare is going. In the chorus, you didn't follow the 16th rhythm when you did in the difficult chart. At m54, this applies for all charts, when the kick/bassdrum isn't going, most of the time, that's a good spot to lessen the difficulty of the patterns to give some breathing room, because I don't see any breathing room which is magnified when this is labeled as a 13. One last thing is that I mentioned in the basic chart that the piano starts when the song fades out, I felt that the song cut isn't really that good & kinda gets repetitive. Overall, while it is playable, it didn't really wow me. Challenge: - BE MY COWBOY (The Factory Dance Mix) [kaystar] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals furfilled. Basic: 9/10 This may a bit too easy for a 7. I think at m35, you could add in a note there in the space. Other then that, the chart is fine for a 6 or maybe a 5. Difficult: 10/10 Patterns seem to fit for a 10. I did like at m15 when there were no notes to emphasize the echo. The chorus was done nicely & was consistent. I did like at m52 when you followed the echoes with the 8th notes. Good job on lowering the difficulty in the end, overall a much better chart then the basic chart. Expert: 9/10 This chart follows the synths nicely. Some of the 16th gallops didn't fit, as well as a few of the 16th notes, but overall it's still good. Challenge: - Campfire Medley [venomothim] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals covered, interesting song to step. (Also I don't know if this is right below 2:30 or over). Basic: 9/10 Feels like a 5. I think you could have ramped up the steps at the end as the climax does have a bit of energy. Other then that, serviceable. Difficult: 8.5/10 M24 was done nicely with the jumps going with the backing vocals. M35 also did a good job with the 8th notes going with the backing vocals. At m51, I think you could have done that measure better to match the rhythms of the drums. Expert: 8/10 Good usage of the jumps with the vocals. I think the chart is solid, but I don't know if people would play this over & over again. Challenge: - Coca Cola [DJEmbrace] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are furfilled. Basic: 9.5/10 Good chart, nothing to add aside from a nice touch with the 8th step at the end. Difficult: 8.5/10 May be a bit much for a 9, but still nice. Like the ending. Expert: 8/10 Song is wierd to chart, but I think you did the best you could do for a 12. I wished you would have followed the saxaphone on 1 of the charts. Challenge: - Dinosaur Laser Fight [kaystar] Beginner: 9/10 Fundamental's furfilled, though maybe a bit much with the 4th jackhammers in a beginnier chart even though I think it would be acceptable for the oh yeah. Basic: 9/10 Step's are nice & fits for a 6. Difficult: 9/10 I think at the chorus, you could have a 4th-8th-4th pattern, but other then that, I think is good. Expert: 9/10 Nice patterns to go with the vocals. Good addition with the shock arrows as well. Overall good even though there are a few parts in the song that I would personally change like at m47. Challenge: - Dschinghis Khan [venomothim] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamental's are furfilled, & liked how the 4th jackhammers fit with the kick pattern. Basic: 9.5/10 Steps fit with the song. Like the additional jumps at the end of thes song. Bit generic, but for a 6, it works well. Difficult: 9.5/10 Liked how the 8th's matched a synth pattern. Also liked how you used the jumps to follow the lyrics & track. Great chart. Expert: 9/10 I liked how the oh and ah's were the jumps. Gives it character. This chart does suffer though from difficulty curves. The song was like a 11 until near the end, where in the jump pattern at m50 I feel is a lot more difficult for a 13 at 150 bpm unless you know a technique to do those. Other then that, it's good. Challenge: - Gokuaku no hana [forcednature] Beginner: 9.5/10 Fundamentals are furfilled, though it may be tough for a 4 due to there being 8th notes for a beginner chart. Basic: 9/10 Difficulty seems to fit for a 9. Liked how some of the freezes go with the vocals. At m58 there is a spot where there could be a bit of ambiguity going on. Difficult: 9/10 Patterns fit for a 12. At m28/62, I don't think the jackhammer there was neccasary. Other then that, nice. Expert: 10/10 Patterns are clean as I expect from you. Notes fit with the vocals & overall a solid chart throughout. Excellent job. Can't find anything bad to say. Challenge: - Hard Landing [MuineliM] Beginner: 9.5/10 Fundamentals are furfilled, though a few patterns for a beginner chart at 140 bpm may be a bit tough. --- Basic: 8/10 At m12, the first jump fits as well as the other times when that sound effect happens, but the other jumps don't really fit. Other then that, it's passable. Difficult: 7/10 A golden rule in stepcharting is to not start with an up or down arrow since that would open ambiguity on where to start. At m18, I would have liked if you would have added jumps. Same problem with jumps from the basic difficulty. There are spots where there should be jumps that aren't, and where there shouldn't be jumps, there are. Knocks this one down a notch. Expert: 6/10 Same problem as the difficult chart at the start. Though I think m5-m16 works, at m17, you didn't commit to the drill in full to the song. Part at 34 seconds you did good on, though it could use some cleanup. At m18, you didn't fully commit to the jumps like later on so that's a hit in consistensy. At the ending, I think you could have followed the kick patterns to have a bit more variety from the difficult chart. At the end, why is there a 16th crossover there? Challenge: - Howling [extraordiberry] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are furfilled Basic: 8.5/10 Don't really get the jumps in some of this song. Other then that, it's good. Difficult: 8.5/10 Again some problems with the jumps, which I would be fine with if it was a measure later since there is a percussion that could fit. Other then that, I guess it's still good. Expert: 9.5/10 I liked this chart a lot. Good usuage of crossovers & the song. Solid all around. I don't have a lot to say, this is a great chart. Only thing holding this back maybe a bit is that I think I remember somebody already doing this I think about a year ago, but still great! Challenge: - LOW [Pandemonium X] Beginner: 9/10 Fundamentals are furfilled, though I think you could have removed the 8th notes. Also why is there a slowdown in the song at m41? Basic: 8.5/10 Chart patterns may be a bit inconsistant. Patterns could also be a bit basic, but the slowdown just doesn't fit with the song at all for me. Just alright. Difficult: 8/10 Chart may be a bit messy, though that may be because of the song. Again, the slowdown doesn't fit so that's tough to get out of. Chart is fine. Expert: 7.5 Chart just steps a bit wierd since it lacks some 4th arrows at some parts due to the song. I think the footswitches work with the song. I think at m33, you could have those notes go along with a freeze. Again the slowdown just is awkward to me. A missed opportunity at m61 to have a stop there. Maybe a 16 since there are a lot of 16th streams at 160bpm. It's just passable. Challenge: - Matt Silver [extraordiberry] Beginner: 9/10 Fundamental's furfilled, though I don't know if the jackhammers fit. Basic: 9/10 Chart is okay, jumps could be removed as I felt it doesn't really add to anything. This is a wierd song so I don't know how to judge it properly. Difficult: 9/10 Chart looks a lot cleaner then the basic chart in my opinion. I think you nailed the wierd parts well. Chart also I think could fit a 13, though a 14 could be a lot more safe. Expert: 9/10 Good pattern's & crossovers. Again, maybe tone down the jumps because most I don't see them fitting with something in the song. I think you did the wierd part of the song well, though at m48, I think those 16th jackhammers may be a bit much. Challenge: - Ookina koe de [Ben Speirs] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are furfilled Basic: 10/10 Liked how the freezes matched the scottish pipe, and the 8th notes match the vocals. Nice job. Difficult: 10/10 Again, nice job with the vocals & steps. May be a bit much for a 8 even at 100bpm, but it's doable. Expert: 9/10 One thing at m3, I think you could have removed the jump there as that was before the song really starts. Other then that, I think you used the song very well to make some nice steps. At m25, I think those jumps could be removed to follow the vocals, but other then that, nice job. Challenge: - pray nightly [Pandemonium X] Beginner: 8.5/10 Not really sure if 8th notes should be for a beginner chart. Basic: 8/10 At m26-m27, the jump should be for m27, not m26 due to a crash percussion. M62/m70 may be difficult for a 6. Difficult: 8.5/10 At m8, there could be a bit of ambiguity with the space from the up arrow. Outside from a few jumps that could be removed, it's better. Expert: 7/10 M18 is wierd despite it kinda fitting. The pattern at m24 I think is too much for a 13 at 170 bpm. I think even 16th bursts may be too much for a 13 at 170 bpm, especially at m45. This chart is more for a 14 then a 13. Challenge: - RINNE [forcednature] Beginner: 10/10 Chart fit's for a 5. Basic: 9.5/10 Chart fits with the song. Patterns fit for a 9 even at 198 bpm, though a 10 was close. Difficult: 9/10 At m9, I think you could have toned down that section because without the steps following the vocals, it kinda sounds a bit wierd. Patterns do fit for a 13. Nice job. Expert: 8.5/10 Chart fits for a 16. With the steps now following the vocals in the beginning, it's not awkward to step in that section. At m24, those 16th's could be removed as they don't really go with anything. Aside from maybe this song maybe not fitting a 16, the chart is still good. Challenge: - TOKYO CALLING [Ben Speirs] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals covered, though maybe a bit much on the jackhammers. Basic: 10/10 Nice job of using the jackhammers to emphasize the vocals. Patterns also fit for a 7. Difficult: 9/10 Patterns fit for a 10. I kinda wished you followed the tokyo calling vocal for the entire song as you didn't make it consistant in the beginning. Other then that, it's still good. Expert: 9.5/10 Nice usage of 16th gaps as well as using the vocals of the song to your advantage. Good pacing as well with the difficulty progression. Just needed to continue the vocal lines at the end & it would be great! Challenge: 9/10 Kinda wished you did the shock arrow at the end of calling, but the shock arrows still worked well. - Touch Me / BEMANI Sound Team "GekiReco & Sota F." [chrononical] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 10/10 Chart looks good for a 6. Nice job on the consistentsy. Difficult: 9/10 The part around m11 may be a bit wierd, but I guess you stepped that part well. At m21, I think the steps could be a bit more complex. Other then that, it's nice. Expert: 9/10 Very twisty & very good as well. 1 thing at m35, I think a 16th arrow could have been removed. I also think a few parts may have been a bit overstepped, but overall nice job. Challenge: - Touch Me / C-Show [chrononical] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 9/10 Maybe less notes at the beginning since the song doesn't pick up until m17, but other then that it's good. Difficult: 10/10 Nice usage of 8th to follow the vocals. 16th's fit for an 11 & steps follow the song well. Nice job. Expert: 9.5/10 16th gallops are used nicely. Freeze usage also adds a touch. Would have had a different section at m37 with you being able to add jumps in that, but following the snares was also nice. Good job. Would have liked the final note to be consistent with the difficult chart though. Challenge: - Unlimited Ammo [DJEmbrace] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 9/10 Nothing wowed me, but it's good. Difficult: 8.5/10 I felt this would be a 9 for those 8th arrows & 150bpm. Wierd song to know difficulty progression. Expert: 9/10 I did like at m52 you added a 16th arrow. Ending may be a bit much for a 12, but overall its nice. Challenge: 9/10 Chart does feel like a 16 at points, but I think this does a good job. Maybe it's a bit overcharted, but I think this was great all around. - Wish / Koyote [MuineliM] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 9/10 Fundamentals are covered, even with some spins. Difficult: 8/10 Patterns look good for a 9, though I think the patterns could be a bit more complex like a few crossovers. Jumps didn't fit at m56/m57, but otherwise alright. Expert: 7/10 At the beginning, I would have liked if you would have mirrored the patterns together. Challenge: Also at m8, the up arrow there opens up ambiguity. Some jumps could also be removed. I wished the patterns go with the vocals in the chorus. Also I do appreciate the attempt in difficulty progression in the end, but this song doesn't warrent 16th patterns like that. - wish / DJ Yoshitaka feat. Kotomi Sugimura [P1989] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Very basic, but needed. Difficult: 9.5/10 Maybe the beginning could be a bit different, but the bass jumps do remain consistant throughout so no foul. Good use of the 16th's for a 7. Chart is nice. Expert: 9.5/10 Good patterns. Maybe at the verse, you could follow the vocals a bit more, but overall I think it's nice. Challenge: 9/10 I think at the beginning you could have done the full 24th pattern since this is the challenge. Again I wished you could have followed the vocals more, but still I think you charted this very well. - WISH (EUROBEAT MIX) [P1989] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered, though I think a 4 is too high for a rating. Basic: 9.5/10 Maybe you could add some jumps to match with the crashes, but its still good for a basic chart. Difficult: 9/10 I think some jump placements could be switched around & added. At m41, there could be a bit of ambiguity, but still nice. Expert: 10/10 Good usage of patterns & following the vocals. 15 seems fair & I did like the repetition that is consistant with this. Good usage of difficulty progression & knowledge of the song. Excellent job. Challenge: - You Raise Me Up [Braeden47] Beginner: 10/10 Fundamentals are covered. Basic: 8.5/10 I think there should be a jump at m3 to match the crash. Steps may also go into 7 territory. Difficult: 9/10 May be a bit left facing in the 1st bit. Good job trying to emphasize the vocals. 11 seems to fit. Nice. Expert: 7.5/10 Steps follow the synths nicely in the 1st bit. Starting at m29, I think you could have not had that many notes until at m36 to emphasize the build-up. 16th arrow patterns afterwards until the synth part are also a bit questionable. Challenge:
